The men began running around, loading parts and tools into the vehicles and heavy lift chopper. They smiled once they had everything loaded several hours later; there was still room for 2 cars or 1 tank.
"Which one should we load up?" Ferd asked the group. "A tank, or 2 SUV's?"
Redding shook his head. "Why not take the artillery cannons? We can fit 2 of those, and they can do more damage from a lot farther away than the tank."
Ferd chuckled. "And here I thought you were a total moron," he said to Redding. "Turns out you're half moron, at best." He looked at Mesozoic. "With your permission, sir, we'd like to load up 2 of the artillery cannons. It'll slow down the chopper considerably, but in the long run it'll save us a lot of time."

The men promptly entered their vehicles, Ferd and Redding starting their SUV's, Roden throwing switches within the cockpit of the helicopter.
The rotors began to turn, slowly at first, but picking up speed very quickly. The noise increased noticeably as well, and Roden grabbed his handheld radio.
"Sir, once this thing is going full bore, I won't be able to hear the radio very well!" Roden shouted into his handset, over the roar of the blades. "Sorry, but once I'm airborne, I'll be a little hard to get a hold of!"

Meso nodded "then meet us back at the base." with that meso gave a salute to roden, as meso got into the main SUV. "Lets move out!" he shouted as he started up the suv and pulled out, heading back to base

As Roden lifted off, the helicopter lurching somewhat due to his lack of experience with such a large chopper, privates Ferd and Redding fell into a convoy behind Mesozoic.
"Okay, sir, everything is rolling," Redding announced over the radio. "Without roads to complicate his trip, I imagine Roden's gonna be first to return to base. Our ETA is 50 minutes if we maintain cruising speed and traffic is light. If I were to guess, I'd put his at about 30."

Mesozoic kept his speed constant as best as he could making sure he didn't put to much distance between him and the others. mesozoic reached down to turn on his radio to contact the other. "men i call this mission completed. good work men." he said. "now lets get back to base im sure General Darzul will be most pleased."
