[glow=orange,1,600]As the Quasar flew northeast toward Visignis' home, Visignis walked into the cabin, telling the pilot to turn east.
The plane soon set down in a clearing outside Pyrodeus' Forge. Visignis picked up Victor as the door opened and the staircase lowered.
"What do you think, Viviana?" he said, walking toward the staircase. "Should we stop in and show the kids off a little?"[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana smiled as the plane touched down. "Sure," she said, picking up Valerie. "They're too adorable for us to keep to ourselves."[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis walked toward the forge doors, unable to wipe the smile from his face. He stopped, cradling his son in his oversized hand, and extended the other toward the doors. Slowly but surely they opened, and Visignis approached the forge.
"Anyone home?" he called out.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus appeared outside the Forge, his eyes ablaze, his hands up to the elbows a brilliant glowing red which mimicked that of metal immediately after being removed from a fire.
"Oh, it's you," he said, visibly relieved. "I was worried about the IDPD coming back, and when I felt the doors opening I feared the worst."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus appeared in a cloud of cool fog, moments after Pyrodeus had come to the Forge. He sighed as he saw Visignis and Viviana.
"Welcome," he said. "What brings you to-" he began, but stopped cold when he saw the newborn twins being cradled by their parents. "Welcome, to you and your family," he said, smiling thinly.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis smiled proudly. "We wanted to bring the kids here, to meet their grandfather," he said, walking toward Pyrodeus. "This is Victor, your grandson."
As Victor looked up at Pyrodeus, his eyes widened in awe. His gaze soon became more quizzical, as if he were trying to figure out what it was about the Angel of Fire that had him so captivated.[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana approached Pyrodeus shortly thereafter. "And this is Valerie," she said, smiling lovingly at her daughter. "She was born about 4 minutes after Victor." She looked at Pyrodeus. "Would you like to hold her?" she asked.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus looked at Viviana, amazed. "Of course," he said, extending a wingtip toward her. It curled into a basket-like shape. "Set her in there, please."
He did the same with his other wing, extending it toward Visignis. "Do you mind?" he asked.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]"Not at all," Visignis replied, never hesitating to set his son in the cupped wing of Pyrodeus. Victor looked around at the flaming wing which cradled him, wide-eyed, and then up at Pyrodeus. He let out a single short giggle, and smiled an infantile, toothless grin at Pyrodeus.[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana was hesitant at first, but when she saw Visignis set Victor into the wing offered to him, and heard Victor laugh, she assumed there would be no problems. She set Valerie into Pyrodeus' other wing, and the infant nephilim looked around her, responding not unlike her brother - astonished by the new environment, filled with wonder but showing no indication of fear or displeasure. She looked up at Pyrodeus and smiled, her arms and legs both flailing.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus couldn't help but grin as he looked at his two grandchildren, nestled within his wings of flame. He gently bounced them up and down, and Valerie giggled. Victor managed to grab an individual feather, and was now turning his head, trying to suck on it.
Pyrodeus laughed aloud at this development, which caused Victor to briefly forget the feather and look at his grandfather. He smiled, then returned to his task.
"They're beautiful," he said, pulling his wingtips close to his chest so he could look closely at both of them.
"Their eyes," he said, looking back and forth at the twins. "They both have two differently-colored eyes, but on opposite sides from each other," he stated. He then chuckled again. "God, they're both so beautiful."[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis nodded, smiling paternally at the babies within his father's wings. "Yes, they are," he said.
He then looked at Cryodivus. "Victor was born first," he said. "He's your godson, Cryodivus. Would you like to hold him?"[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus looked at the children cradled in Pyrodeus' wings, and couldn't help but smile. He looked up at Visignis' inquiry. "I'd love to," he said, extending a wing much as Pyrodeus had.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis picked Victor up from Pyrodeus' wing, and set him into Cryodivus'. The young nephilim immediately gasped, then began to cry.
Visignis, looking sheepish, removed his cloak. "Sorry about that," he said as he picked Victor back up and wrapped him in the cloak, then set him back into Cryodivus' wing. "He's probably warm-blooded like me, and I'm sure the temperature of your wing spooked him a little."
Victor seemed much more pleased now, and looked up at Cryodivus. He looked much less alarmed, but still astonished. He flashed a grin at Cryodivus, and giggled.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus laughed, surprising even himself, when Victor giggled. He gently rocked Victor in his wing, smiling down at the baby.
"Hi, Victor," he finally said, at a loss for words for a long time. He pulled his wingtip close ot his chest, allowing him a closer look at the infant child.
He looked at Viviana, smiling as he extended a cupped wing to her. "Do you mind if I hold Valerie as well?" he asked, far more shyly than one would expect from a centuries-old demigod.[/glow]
