After about 10 minutes of driving, Darzul came to a stop outside a warehouse. There were several crates and oil drums outside, but Darzul could only see one guy, a pistol holstered at his hip.
Darzul stopped the truck, and looked at Mesozoic. "It looks like just the one guy. Stay low, and if nobody pops out, don't shoot unless I do." He then paused. "Or if I get shot, obviously."

Meso said looking at the man then back to Darzul.
'Doesn't look like he can cause to much of a mess"

"Awfully cool night," Darzul said to the man at the gate.
"The sea air does that," the man replied.
His code word confirmed, Darzul walked toward the warehouse door with his keycard. He scanned the card, causing the garage door to open.
Darzul walked inside and saw a large military freight truck. He walked around the back and climbed in, turning on the light on the ceiling. The guns were in racks on the sides of the truck, the body armor in piles on the floor. Darzul smiled as he left the truck, but after the lighted truck he noticed there were no lights on in the warehouse, except that little red one.
He then saw the red dot on his chest, the laser sight from the man hidden in the corner.
"MESO!" he managed to bellow before the gun went off, hot lead burrowing into his chest and then flying out his back, taking a fair amount of blood and tissue with it. Darzul fell to the ground.

meso watched as the events took place and the hail of gun fire, as Darzul fell to the ground Meso was out from hiding, keeping low to the ground so he wouldnt get shot.
he made his way the best he could to get near Darzul, grabbing some near by body armor. Meso shot a few shots the first few shot rung out and Meso almost lost control of his gun. after all this was the first time using one. and he wasn't expecting a powerful kickback. after a few more shots he gained control and fired in the direction of were he saw the shots come from, hoping he would hit something.
Meso found himself next to Darzul, he did the best he could to drag him to a safer spot. useing some of the armor he collected to cover up Darzul "we need to get you out of here. but i don't thing we would get far with that guy fireing at us."

As the wound pulled itself closed, Darzul inhaled sharply.
"You're right, we won't," Darzul said to Mesozoic. "Looks like we're gonna have to get him to stop shooting."
Darzul leaned out from behind the cover once he heard the shooting stop. He pointed his pistol at the red dot, and fired. He heard a string of cuss words and shuffling feet, but the muzzle flash showed him where the other guy was. He fired again, to another groan and slower steps. His third bullet finally put the man down.
Darzul heard the clunking of boots, and the distinctive clack of a clip being loaded into a gun.
"Hey Meso, how's your night vision?" Darzul asked. "I know they're out there, but the guy I wasted had night vision goggles. No wonder there weren't any lights," he muttered.

Meso did have a little bit of night vision, but he had a idea.
Meso looked over to Darzul. "cover your eyes and get ready to shoot."
Meso quickly raized his hand shoot out a small lightning ball upwards, a small explosion of light filled the room.

Darzul covered his eyes with his hand. The pure blackness was purged by something that Mesozoic threw, but Darzul hadn't seen what.
Regardless, he heard several cries of pain, and looked up. The warehouse was fairly well lit, some kind of electric crackling ball glowing in the air. Even better than that was the flash's effect on the guys across from Darzul; they were trying to claw the night vision goggles off of their heads, clearly blinded by the amplification of what was already bright enough not to stare into. Darzul could tell now that there were four of them left.
What had been overwhelming odds had quickly become a turkey shoot. "Just pick 'em off, Meso," Darzul said quietly, taking careful aim. "Take your time."
Darzul then fired, taking the top of one man's head off. He shot another man in the throat, causing a violent spray of blood and pieces of bone and tissue.

Meso focused his energy into the ball of lightning. small sparks started to ark out wards, cracking and snapping. one of the arks came in contact with one of the guys, lifting him off the ground and causeing his body to burn and smoke.
with a little extra energy push from meso, the man's eyes exploded outward, blood dripping from under the goggles as his face was being covered by burns. with that said and done meso returned the energy ball back to just lighting up the room. "woo that was messy." he said .

Darzul looked at Mesozoic, astonished. "You made that lightning ball?" he said. "And then you made it kill a guy?"
Darzul smiled. "You're alright, kid," he said, picking off the last of the assailants with his gun.
He then climbed into the cab of the weapons and armor truck, and found there was no key.
"Of course there's no key, why would there be?" Darzul said, punching the steering wheel in anger. "The bastards were just gonna kill me and keep the guns." He frowned as he hotwired the truck, getting it to turn over after three tries.
"Hop in, Meso," Darzul told him. "We're gonna drop these off at HQ, and then go check on our friend at Thoncir General."

"right" Meso hopped into the truck, as he shut the cab door the light slowly faded from the room.
