Right. Just as the title suggests, I've been debating changing the colors somewhat. Nothing major, it's still going to be about the same sort of theme. Basically, I was either going to change shades, or the color of the text. Maybe both.
Vote, and then write a five page essay defending your argument...
In all seriousness, though. If I do end up changing it, I'd like to know what you guys would like changed up. Tell me your ideas here.

Honestly, I've got no opinion either way. On the one hand, Blades has, at least in my experience, always been this way. Black and Red, that's Blades. So, if I were to vote with just that view, I'd say no change, let newcomers adjust or leave.
However, I can also understand where our colors can be a little off-putting. I can't tell you how often I look away from my computer screen, and my eyes hurt for no reason, other than that I've been staring at Black/Red, with the occassional splash of something else. From that perspective, I'd say yes, and consider lightening things up, maybe from black to a dark grey, and from red...
Well, keep the red, that's ours, I'm proud of it. Not my choice at the end of the day whether to change or not, but I gotta hope that the red stays a part of this site. That's my piece. Outz.

Alright. As you may have noticed, there's been a change. Hope you like it. If not, the original is still available through your profile options. If you have the original, and want the new one, that's also the way to change it over. If you have anything you'd like for a different layout, let me know here.
Many Kudos to Taelyrn on his help with this one.

Always glad to help, especially when it comes to Blades.
EDIT: After my own difficulties, here's a short step-by-step to change your preferred skin.
- 1. Log in to your account. Note: If you have multiple accounts, you'll have to do this with each one of them.
- 2. Either click on your name, or click on 'profile' at the top of the page. This should bring up your member info.
- 3. Click on 'Modify Profile'. This brings you to the screen where you can change pretty much anything about your profile. We're all familiar with this one.
- 4. Scroll down to the section titled 'Account Preferences'. Between the option to Show Images and the option to Expand Sub-Boards, there should be a drop-down under the heading 'Select Skin'. For the new skin, click BloodStone. For the classic, go to Default.
- 5. Scroll down a little more, and click 'Modify Profile' to confirm the changes. As soon as the next screen loads, you should see your new preferred skin.
As I mentioned in Step 1, you will need to repeat this process for every account you have if you want their skins changed. Best of luck, need any help, PM myself or Ark.
