[glow=red,2,500]"It will work," Pyrodeus shouted back. "And if it doesn't, I'll redirect them to the Blazing Plane and they can burn alive for all I care!" he added. "Entering the Forge uninvited, those arrogant..." Pyrodeus mumbled, before drowning out his own angry raving with hammer blows.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn jumped as the table flew across the room, then relaxed slightly as the demigod stormed into his forge. Noticing the wrapped hookswords on the floor, Taelyrn kneeled down, picking the bundle up slowly, seeming lost in thought.
With a sigh, he stood, pacing around the open space that had once been occupied by a table. "So what do we do? What good will one-fifth of Nocticertus' power do her with them? You heard the little one. They don't need her alive."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"The big one said they needed to run some tests on her before they decided her fate. That buys us some time. I'm sure Nocticertus' power will throw those tests off, and that buys us more time."
"That woman, whoever she is, is one-fifth Warrior Angel now. She's one of us, Taelyrn, at least partially. We're going to find her, we're going to free her, and then we're going to bring her back here and finish what we started."
He glanced at the Forge. "And if Pyrodeus' artifact works, we'll do it without interruption."[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]"Wait a minute," Visignis said. "I might not be as powerful as you, Cryodivus, but I've been around almost as long. Do you honestly think it's a good idea to just charge into the home, base, whatever, of some enemy we know nothing about?"[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"No," Cryodivus flatly stated. "In fact, it's a colossally bad idea. But we have no way to gather information, no better option, and not much time."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus set the seal down on the now-cleared floor. "We meditate," he said. "We concentrate, and eventually Nocticertus' distant energy signal will reveal itself. Probably to Taelyrn, he's the other half of her tandem."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana was truly terrified.
First Pyrodeus grabs her and she appears in this place, the forge Visignis had mentioned once or twice during her human life. Supposedly impenetrable.
Then, invaders get in, there's a half-dead girl, they threaten to kill her, Cryodivus and Pyrodeus threaten to kill them, they all try to turn her into a Warrior Angel and then sudenly stop and let the brute and the guy with the gun take her. Knowing full well they will probably kill her when they're done with her.
She almost got hit by a table, and she'd never seen Pyrodeus this mad. The learning curve with these Warrior Angels was so steep, and she was sprinting at full speed just to not fall too far behind. She finally managed to collect herself and process all of this as Cryodivus mentioned Taelyrn and this girl, or this seal, being parts of a tandem.
"What's a tandem?" she finally inquired.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn nodded, turning to Viviana. "Warrior Angels are created in pairs, one by an Archangel, and one by God. Each half of a pair opposes the other in element, like Cryodivus and Pyrodeus do.
Each pair is called a 'tandem', and while they act as each other's opposites, they are connected through that conflict of power. That's why, if this works, it's more likely that I'd be the one to find her than, say, Cryodivus. I'm one half of that angelic tandem, and, with the power she's already absorbed, she is the other."
Glancing at Cryodivus, Taelyrn asked, "I miss anything?"[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"No, I think that pretty much covers it," Cryodivus said. "Now, everyone sit in a circle around the seal. Visignis, Viviana, I think you two know the drill by now. Taelyrn, if you haven't done united meditation yet, I think you'll catch on quickly."
Cryodivus sat in the lotus position, eventually levitating about two feet off of the ground. A sphere of frost appeared around him, making him look like a life-sized snow globe.
His eyes popped open, glowing bright blue, and the snow globe froze to an opaque, bluish-white ball of ice.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis sat next to Cryodivus, across from Viviana in the circle. He also assumed the lotus position, closed his eyes and began to meditate. He had only done this maybe a dozen times, but he was getting better at it.
He soon levitated as well, and his eyes opened, both burning. Four rings of flame surrounded him; one vertically down his center, a horizontal ring around his midsection, and a diagonal one over each shoulder. The convergence of the four rings was directly in front of his sixth chakra.[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana sat in the lotus position, and closed her eyes as she began.
"It's easy," she said, the message meant for Taelyrn. "It only took me a few tries, and you're stronger than I am."
Viviana then floated slowly to the same level as her husband, and as her eyes opened, glowing purple, a translucent bubble of purple energy surrounded her, colors swirling slowly.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn watched the others take their places, taking some sort of cross-legged position on the ground before each member of the circle became the star of their own light show. He was the last one, and, as they all seemed to be aware, he was the only one that didn't know what he was doing.
Shrugging, Taelyrn took a seat, completing the circle, and struggling slightly to assume the position the others had. Battle came naturally, both with his powers and with his blade. But sitting? Apparently, it was more difficult than it looked. Finally, after a moment of nearly falling, he assumed what he hoped was the position the others had taken, and closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind.
Within moments, he was levitating at a similar height as the others, his wings weaving together to form a bowl within which he sat. Dimly around him, 7 rings of light appeared, one of each color of the visible spectrum, forming a spheroid shape around him. Opening his eyes, they glowed a bright white.
In his mind, Taelyrn saw himself in a strange space with the others, part fire, part ice, part 'purple', and around himself, bright white. In this space, he thought about asking what to do, but remembered what Cryodivus had said: concentrate on the girl and the power she held. So he did.
However, as soon as he thought of the girl, he found it difficult to think of anything else. He found himself awash in an emotional cocktail, and he struggled to sort it all out. There was anger at the so-called 'officers', directed far more towards the smaller one than the well-spoken brute that had taken the girl away. There was a trace of mild annoyance at the girl for rushing out of the hospital on Earth, but this was covered by a mix of regret for letting her go so easily, and a wholly unfamiliar emotion that made him feel short of breath when he thought about it too much.
A single unseen tear fell from the Angel of Light's eye as he continued to meditate. He had to find her, to save her. Then, after that was done, he'd apologize for getting her into this mess.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus looked around. Everyone had arrived, and they had all taken on their 'ethereal' appearance.
Visignis' eyes, hands, and feet all glowed like embers. Viviana's eyes glowed a bright purple, as did her ring. Her hair appeared to be blown by some sort of slow-motion breeze. Cryodivus himself, his wings far larger than normal and his mouth totally gone, stood before them in a frozen body, giving off not light, per se, but simply power.
Taelyrn, his eyes, wings and clothing all shining brightly, was almost too bright to look directly at. His face showed clear signs of conflict, shifting seamlessly between emotions but never settling on one. "Damn," Cryodivus said. "We made him run before we taught him to walk."
"Taelyrn, look at me," he said, his eyes locking with the Angel of Light's. "You need to focus. You made it here on your first try, and that's impressive. But now I need you to listen to my voice. Try to concentrate, and get your emotions under control. In this place, emotions running too high can expel you from the meditation unexpectedly. Breathe deeply, and try to calm yourself."[/glow]
