[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn nodded at Cryodivus' advice, taking a deep breath, and letting it out slowly. It came out shaky. He took a second, and then a third. By the third breath, his breathing was even, and his emotions were calm once more.
"Alright. Sorry about that." Starting again, with renewed focus, Taelyrn thought of the girl, and the fragment of Nocticertus' power within her. He sensed the dark energy on the seal, and the wisps of it that were left in the air where she had been carried.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis frowned, looking around. "I hope that tandem thing helps you, Taelyrn, because I can't sense where she went. I was hoping that seeking a piece of Tresdos' effect on the seal might help, but so far, no luck."[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn remained silent, focusing on trying to follow the faint trail she'd left behind. He could see where they simply stopped, right at the point that the brute had opened his portal. Past that point, the trail took a sharp turrn, becoming almost invisible. It was along this trail that he sent his mind now.
"I've got something...I'm not sure where they wound up yet, but I know they took her away from Etrah...wait...there!"
He'd finally followed the trail close to its source, and as he'd come closer, the power of Nocticertus had seemed to strengthen the signal, before suddenly cutting out. Sighing with frustration, Taelyrn brought his mind back the way he had come, remembering the way. He'd been on the right world, he knew. He felt that he might have been very close, in fact. Opening his eyes in the ethereal meeting room, Taelyrn spoke.
"I had it. For a moment, I had it. Then it just...stopped. Like it was blocked somehow."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus frowned. "Blocked?" he repeated. This was troubling. If it worked at all, it should have worked completely. Being cut off from this girl was a bad sign.
"I know she's not on Etrah anymore," he said. "Were you able to figure out what plane they took her to?"[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn shook his head. "Yes and no. I know where it is, but it's not one I'm familiar with. From what I could tell, it was a smaller world, and it seemed like most of it was either a city or a junkyard."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"Mostly either a city or a junkyard. Hmm. Nothing I'm familiar with," Cryodivus said. He looked at Visignis.
"You're rich, Visignis," he told him. "In the human world, being rich means you get to know all the stuff they don't want most humans to know. Does this plane ring any bells to you?" he asked.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis thought for a moment. "Humans only figured out planar travel for a short time before the Machine Army struck, and the technology was lost a few thousand years ago. That doesn't sounds like anything they came across, but they only found about 3 planes besides Etrah. Sorry, but it doesn't sounds like anything I've heard of."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana sighed. "Okay, so this is no place we've heard of. Taelyrn has a vague idea of what plane she's in, but we're not sure where this plane is, and the rest of us are clueless." She looked around at each of the people around her. "So where do we go from here?"[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"Back to the real world," Cryodivus said. "I think we've done all the good we're going to here." He then began pulling himself from the trance. This caused him to be pulled backward, away from the others, at a rapid pace.
Upon re-entering the Forge, at least in mind, Cryodivus' ice ball melted and he sat once more upon the floor. His eyes returned to normal.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis was the next to be pulled backward, the rings surrounding his physical body fading away.
Visignis returned to the floor, his eyes returning to their crimson color.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn faded away from the ethereal meeting, the light that seemed to infuse his being fading along with him. In the physical realm, the rainbow of rings circling him fading as his wings pulled back.
Lowering to the floor with Visignis and Cryodivus, Taelyrn opened his eyes, sighing softly to himself.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus returned from the forge, appearing much more calm. In his hand he held what appeared to be a gyroscope in constant motion, with the ruby in a setting on top. Pyrodeus held the base of the gyroscope against the wall, and welded it to the wall. The gem gave off a faint red glow.
"Okay, that will prevent direct teleportation into the Forge. The drawback is that it prevents all direct teleportation, including our own. We'll have to simply teleport in front of the Forge and enter the old-fashioned way."
He then saw the others sitting in a circle. "So, what did I miss while I was gone?" he asked, bringing the table he had thrown back to where it came from.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]"Well, we found her for a moment, then we got cut off. We don't know how or why. I've also got a pretty decent picture of the world she's on, but none of us recognize it. That about sums it up."
Glancing at the gyroscope, Taelyrn gave a nod of approval. Now, at least, if they could get her here, they'd be alright. Only Warrior Angels could open the doors to the Forge. The obstacles in their way seemed to be numerous, though. They had no clue where they were going, or what would be waiting for them when they got there.
"The place we're looking for is a small world, mostly city, and part junkyard. Ring any bells with you, Pyrodeus?"[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]"No," Pyrodeus said. "But if it exists, it'll be documented in the Holy Archives. And I think we've got enough information to find out what plane it is."[/glow]
