[glow=white,1,500]Upon entering the room with the others, Taelyrn heard Cryodivus' request. Noticing the chandelier, Taelyrn smiled, flicking a finger at the hanging glass structure. As soon as he did, a small bead of light appeared in the center of the fixture, bouncing and reflecting off of the glass, and filling the room with soft white light.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus raised his hand, but saw Taelyrn illuminate the chandelier. He then tossed a ribbon of flame, lighting the torches on the walls.
"Alright, we're in the right room," Pyrodeus said. "Now I believe the books are..." he trailed off, starting to walk along the wall. "Here we are," he said, gesturing toward a shelf which extended the length of the room. "These are the ones," he said. He found the volume containing 'Em - Ev', and browsed until he found the page. "Here it is," he said. "The first page of the reference to Etrah."
He handed the book to Taelyrn, opened to the page. "Okay, Taelyrn," he said. "Work your magic."[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn took the book carefully, placing his palm flat on the page. Closing his eyes, he concentrated on the page, visualizing a glow around its edges. As he did, the light he'd place in the chandelier dimmed momentarily, as the page began to glow green around the edges.
Opening his eyes, Taelyrn pulled his hand away from the page, closing the book. As soon as he did, the glow spread to the other pages, then around the cover. Opening the book again, the glow confined itself to the page on Etrah. Satisfied, he closed the book, handing it back to Pyrodeus. "Done. It'll stay that way until I take the light back. Now, how do we reorganize these books?"[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"That's the easy part," Cryodivus said, opening the door that led to the room where they stood. "But we have to leave the room in order to get started."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana sighed, walking through the door. "I gotta tell you, so far this seems pretty simple," she said, standing in the hallway.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis walked outside with Viviana. "Do me a favor, babe," he whispered. "Keep that kinda shit to yourself. It's never as simple as it seems when you're dealing with things like these," he said, putting an arm around her shoulder.
"If eight millennia of dealing with the planet's most malevolent superpowers taught me anything," he said, looking at his burning hand, "it's that sometimes the simplest things can get the most screwed up."[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus walked out of the door, just in time to catch Visignis' comment about the simplest things going terribly wrong.
"Ain't that the truth, boy," he said.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn walked from the room after the others, thinking about their words. His trip to Earth had started out simple, easy. Then, as easily as walking through a doorway, things got complicated.
Shaking his head, he waited for Cryodivus to emerge and continue the process.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus closed the door behind him, looking at the others in the hallway. "The Archives are cognizant, almost sentient," he told the others. "With no more than our desire to organize the Planar Encyclopedias by size, the books themselves should literally change themselves accordingly."
He then looked at Taelyrn. "Not you, Angel of Light," he said. "We need you to concentrate on keeping that page aglow. Everyone else, think about the Planar Encyclopedias changing. If we do it right," he said with a smile, "a collection that size, when we open this door again we should be able to actually see the pages reshuffling."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana smiled. "Sure enough," she said. "Things are slowly starting to get complicated," she said, closing her eyes and thinking about the Archives, and the books changing. She saw pages flying through the air. The notion was amusing, which made it easier to focus.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus chuckled at the newlyweds' banter, then began to focus on the Encyclopedias changing. Usually it was very hard to get a collection this large to change, but four people should make it much more feasible.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn nodded at Cryodivus' instruction, focusing on the energy he'd placed in the book. He was amused to find that he could feel the energy moving around, presumably following the exact path the book itself was taking as the reorganization took place.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus heard what Taelyrn, focusing on his page, already knew; it had begun.
"Behold," Cryodivus said, opening the door. A whirlwind of pages flew through the room, reducing visibility nearly to zero. Soon the 'storm' began to calm slightly, with a handful of tomes returning to their shelf. Within a few minutes more, all of the books had settled on the shelf again.
Cryodivus looked at Taelyrn. "Do you still have it?" he asked.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis smiled. If this was what Heaven was like all the time, it must be quite a place. Divine beauty everywhere, even in the golden tables and ivory shelves of this room, part of a library the size of a village.
Then began a hurricane of knowledge, half-living books literally re-publishing themselves to comply with the wishes of angels. All in order to seek out a Warrior Angel in the making, captured by intergalactic raiders of some sort who had imprisoned her, conceivably, in their home world. This magic he witnessed had taken a process that could have taken centuries and reduced it to less than a day.
"This place is incredible," was all he managed to utter.[/glow]
