Name: Maku Riskan
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 110 lbs
Bio: Maku is a superpowered human, the older brother (by 2 minutes) of Taka Riskan. The two lived an uneventful life in their hometown of Reyone until the break of Heaven and Hell. The breaking released massive amounts of energy and physical material into the Etrahn plane, and Maku absorbed a great deal of infernal energy. This gifted him with incredible powers, which also affected his mind. A few weeks after the twins gained their powers, Maku was driven insane by them, and went on a rampage in Reyone before fleeing the city.
Maku set out on a journey, driven by his madness to kill anyone that crossed him. When he ran out of people to kill, he resorted to demolishing structures as an outlet for his power. Eventually, Maku was summoned to Mt. Baal by a spell cast by Baalaose, which drew those of malevolent intent to the mountain. There, Maku fought for the false god in the Battle of Mt. Baal, but was eventually bested by the precognitive prowess of Drake the Perciever.
The near-death experience brought Maku back to his senses, as well as reuniting him with his twin, Taka. The two fled to the Unnamed City, and took shelter in Old Sarah's Boarding House, while he attempted to gain control over his abilities. His efforts drew the attention of the local police, and Maku was forced to flee the City in order to keep Taka safe.
Eventually, Maku found his way to Thoncir, after a fight that rendered his left arm all but useless. In order to recieve proper treatment for the limb, Maku joined the Vorcan Army, guaranteeing him nigh-unlimited access to Thoncir General's staff and equipment. Shortly after, however, a demon called Shard rampaged across the city, and during the battle that ended with the beast's destruction, Maku's left arm was damaged beyond repair. He was fitted with a cybernetic prosthetic, and shortly returned to the VA's base to begin boot camp.
ABILITIES
Chaos Flare: Maku's signature ability, the Chaos Flare manifests itself in the form of black lightning. The result of being caught in a blast of infernal energy from Hell's break, Maku's body can create and manipulate anarchic energy. He can generate chaotic explosions in anything he touches, and he has demonstrated the ability to control the severity of these explosions as well as the ability to use them through even indirect physical contact. In addition, he can use them for defensive purposes, such as short-lived shields, and destroying foreign objects embedded in his body with a short, momentary full-body release.
Heightened Physical Ability: Maku normally exhibits heightened strength, speed, and endurance over the average human. When he uses his powers against living beings, these traits are further enhanced, bringing Maku's physical capability to low Angelic levels.
Berserker Phase: Seen only once in his history, the Berserker Phase occurs when Maku uses his abilities too often. His speed and strength increase yet again, and while his endurance seems to remain the same, if not drop, he simply ignores pain, fighting even through cripplingly painful injuries.
