*jay ran down the hall. Two guards came around the corner and jay did a low dive roll, knocking the front man down and then swept the others legs. two swift kicks to the heads and they were knocked out. he took their guns. Quickly taking them apart and throwing the pieces on the ground. Jay never uses guns. Guns kill, Jay doesn't. He also took a keychain from one of the guards. It had a small red orb on it. a security chip, it would help them get around a little easier. Jay walked up to the elevator at at the end of the hall and pressed the down button.*

*Bruno was about to leave, there was an uprising that threatened on of the nations on a particularly valuable planet. One of the major suppliers of weapons and equipment. It would be a shame to loose them over a simple war. Before he stepped into the portal a message came through from the surveyor. Jay and the kuryr had broken out of their cells. a breach in Haven is more important than outside business, and besides, wars take time. Bruno headed to the elevator and was up to the containment floor within a second. To make things easy Jay stood right in front of the elevator for him. he punched at his face. enough to mess him up, but probably not to crush those all important face bones. Bruno wanted to speak with him if possible.*

*Jay managed to get one word out before being sprawled out on the floor with a broken nose and a headache.*
"fuck."

Leyra let out a gasp as a massive black man, seeming to fill the space of the elevator, threw a punch at Jay. The resulting impact sent Jay back down the hall towards her with a bloody, and probably broken, nose. However, it appeared that the man's focus remained entirely on Jay.
Thinking fast, Leyra opened a portal beneath the massive man's feet. The other end came out of the ceiling of her holding cell. The force field that had held her inside of the small space was gone, but if it worked, it would at least get the large man out of the way. Then, she could grab Jay, and get the two of them on the elevator.

*Bruno was almost surprised when the floor left his feet and he began to fall. He quickly assessed that he would land in the facility and let himself fall through. He landed in the cell and stepped out.*
"I'd consider your next move carefully. You have a useful talent, but if you leave this room you'll be dooming yourself. The lower ranks won't negotiate, they'll kill you. you can't get out. You could still have a future. you haven't been treated fairly, but there are other circumstances to be considered. You should stop now before you confirm their assessment of you."

Leyra was kneeling, ready to help Jay up and get him to the elevator. However, as the massive man spoke, his words caught her attention. As much as she wanted to help Jay, she had to admit, she knew next to nothing about the man, or why he had been held.
As for herself...she didn't know where she was, or why she'd been taken, but the massive man's words made sense. Rational sense, something that had been lacking these last few days.
But what about the bright one? Isn't getting back to him important? As she thought this, she knew the answer was yes. But as she saw it, she had two ways to try and make that happen. She could take Jay, try and escape, and possibly die in the process...or she could trust the large man, and live, maybe even have some measure of cooperation with whatever organization had taken her.
Looking at it that way...the choice seemed easy. "How do I know this isn't a trick?"

"A Trick? What would I be tricking you into? If I really needed you dead or secured I would order it and it would happen. If you trust us you can show you are not a risk factor, a task you are failing at so far. Jay has his reasons for wanting you to get away, his fate is sealed, but i am giving you a choice and that's enough to show you I'm serious. Just walk into the cell and we can start. Ill stay here the whole time if I have to."

Leyra listened as the man spoke, his words making more and more sense. It seemed that, for the second time in less than an hour, she had a choice to make. With a sigh, she kneeled down, looking at Jay.
Her voice was soft, almost a whisper. She hoped the large man wouldn't be able to hear her. "I'm sorry. I have to do this."
Standing, Leyra slowly walked away from where Jay lay on the floor, back to the holding cells. Walking past the large man, Leyra sat in her cell without a word.

*Bruno smiled and thanked her for complying and then walked over to Jay and grabbing him by the lapel, slamming his palm on his chest just a bit harder than needed. he wasn't worried about cracking a rib or two. He carried jay into the elevator, speaking a note of comfort before the doors closed.*
"I'll come back shortly and we will sort every thing out."

*A thin man around the age of thirty walks into the room. He notices that Leyras cell door was not activated and proceeds to activate it. He walks over to her and kneels down to get to eye level.*
"The Gate is only a safety precaution, till we get to know each other. I just want you to look at me and relax."
*The man's voice is incredibly soothing and soft. His eyes have an even more amazing effect. They are a soft blue, and are more reassuring then a mothers touch. Even the subtle smile on his face radiates calmness and serenity.*

*Bruno walked back into the room. He walked over to Leyra's cell and nodded at her. He leaned agaist the wall and watched.*
"Just listen to him, he won't hurt you in any way."

*The man looked at leyra and a gold lid slid over his eyes. The lid was similar to that of a lizards eyelid in that it slid in from the side and his eyes remained open. It didn't really matter if she was looking back, but it would make it easier.*
~In the man’s mind he stood in the air in front of Leyra's face. He floated in the air and was only a few inches tall. He took a step forwards into Leyra's mind. She would now see everything he did. He stood in front of a sandstone wall. It represented one of her mental blocks. everyone has them of different strengths, and the man, we will just call him bill, must get through the walls before he can truly speak with the consciousness of the subject Bill put his hand on the wall and it melted away into the sand it was made up of. Another wall stood in front of him, this time made up of hard stone. He put his hand on the wall and pushed inwards. The wall cracked and bowed. The man began to sweat, a manifestation of the effort he was giving. After a moment he pushed through the wall, the chunks falling around him. A few hitting him a shattering. Bill walked to the last and strongest block. A steel wall with a door in it. he walked up to the door and grabbed the handle turning it.~
"Open the door."

Leyra felt uneasy around the thin man, but as soon as she glanced up at him, she could feel her anxiety begin to fade. Whether it was a trick or not, the man had a very calming feeling about him.
When he brought her inside her own mind, she panicked, but only for a moment before the man's presence calmed her again. She didn't help him with any of the outer walls to what she guessed was her mind. In fact, she took some pleasure in seeing the effort it took him to break through them. When he reached the door, however, Leyra paused. Beyond that door, she knew, was only herself. If she let him in, she wouldn't have her walls to defend her. That was why he was doing this.
With a nervous sigh, Leyra opened the door along with the man, letting him in. Beyond it was the cell she'd spent so much time in over the last few days. She'd subconsciously rebuilt it after her life was saved, with much of the chamber constructed out of smooth black stone, instead of the rough-hewn rock that had always been there before. In the corner of the room, her wrists no longer bound to the walls, and seated in a cushioned black armchair, was Leyra.
Standing to welcome the man, Leyra gestured to a similar chair, the movement accompanied by the jingling of the lone chainlinks attached to the manacles that remained on her wrists.

*Bill as we call him, for his true name is unknown and unimportant, walks into the room, pleased with the cooperation of the girl. He sat in the chair she offered him. Responding positively to her actions would help to open her up to him. The mind is a powerful place for discussions to take place because there is a very noticeable distinction between the truth and lies. Lies must be created and thus come out as figments and are distorted, just as everything in this room could be seen as watercolor painted onto a picture, not quite real. The distinction might not be as noticeable to someone who has not been inside a mind much before, but to those who are experienced it is as clear as day.*
"I must ask you a few general questions. I simply need you to answer truthfully. Keep in mind that I am not accusing you of anything." "Are you a Kuryr?" "Do you have intent to harm any individual or group of beings?" "If so, who?" "what is your name?"
