Tobias walked through a hallway, dragging a man over his shoulder. The hall was lined with small, empty rooms, holding cells. Though, this was only the temporary ward. Permanent inmates were kept on a lower floor.
Stepping up to one of the rooms, he dropped his organic luggage, pushing the man inside. His fingers flew across a keypad next to the cell, a quiet buzz filling the air. There was no physical gate, so to speak. However, these cells had a sonic barrier. Anyone trying to get out, from any direction, would instantly be struck with an intense 10Hz signal. It wouldn't hurt, but it would force them to the ground. The longer the would be escapist persisted, the stronger the signal became. Though the reports were few, and far between, there had been a few occasions where an inmate pushed far, and long enough to the point where the signal simply tore their body apart, literally.
Returning the way he came, Tobias held a finger to his comm device. "Xavier, I brought him in," he said, "Cell D-16." He nodded, listening to the voice on the other end. "Understood. I will leave straight away."
The hand dropped, a small, blue light flashing to life on the bangle at its wrist. The commander had given him a new assignment. He was supposed to investigate a recent disturbance in one of the major realms. So far, the place had remained untouched by the late chaos. It would be a shame if it was suddenly being pulled in, as well. Unfortunately, he was given details that proved otherwise. The gate signatures were close to an enemy they'd seen before: Kuryr. Kuryrs were a sub-species of Ravens. While nowhere near as powerful or vicious, they had the same potential for destruction. That was the reason Tobias was chosen for this mission. He was remarkably close to being a Kuryr himself. The only difference was that he wasn't born with his Raven blood.
A rippled formed in the middle of the hallway, directly in front of the Tyradian. He stepped through, closing it instantly as he did so. His destination: The world named Earth.

*Jay sat in the cell. He knew there was nothing he could do without all his stuff, which was given to a guard outside the room. he was around when they implemented the cages, and was very familiar with their workings, but he could do nothing from the inside and so he waited.*

*A large Sliding double door opened at the end of the hallway and a huge figure walked through, taking up almost the entire door. The Man stands about 8 feet tall and has a massive build, all muscle. he walks over to the cell holding Jay and places his hand on the wall above the keypad. His fingers are very large as so he is clumsy with the keypad. a light glows under his had and the buzzing stops. He reaches into the cell and grabs Jay by the lapel, Lifting him and turning to face the wall on the other sid of the hallway. He Very forcefully slams Jay into the wall. He voice is deep, but soft.*
"It's been a long time Jay. Quite convenient that you happened to run into Tobias. I also find it very interesting that you ran to 37124H, the same dimension that we are currently investigating for severe dimensional disturbances. I'm willing to bet you know a bit about all that. But more importantly then that we have also been tracking a Kuryr, and guess where it fled to. Dimension 37124H. Whats going on Jay?

*Jay laughed whole heartedly. He didnt have anywheres near as much to do with this as the IDPD thought.*
"That place is cirtainly unique. I havent seen that many powerful entites on a plane for a long time. There are even gods that directly interact with the people, its really amazing."
*Jay imedeatly knew he had said to much. He had a habit of doings so. he really didnt know when to shut up.*
"you've obviously grown quite a bit scine i was involved but even so i think your in over your heads."

*Bruno smiled and lifted jay from the wall.*
"Too much for us? come on Jay you know thats not true. and in fact i have become quite curious. I was going to wait for the recon team to report back, but I think ill go check it out myself and get the Kuryr while im there."
*Bruno placed jay back into the cell and reactivated it. He turned to face the doors and a portal opened, the highest ranking officers had mentaly wired controls. the destination was linked to the Kuryrs signature.*

*Bruno Walked through a portal in the room and moved over to an empty cell. He set the kuryr into it and activated the gate. he then walked over to the the other side of the hall and slowly pressed a series of keys. a strange static filled the air. it you looked very closely you could almost see very small gray fragments in the air.*
"you both have done you fare share of dimension hopping, I thought it best to be on the safe side. wouldn't want you to get you minds together and figure a way out. any portal created in this room will instantly destabilize and probably cause a rift, so I wouldn't try it. now, I have business to attend to, as much as Id like to chat, and I really do, I must go. someone will be in shortly to question you."
*Bruno walked out of the large sliding doors. *

Leyra knew she was being moved as the large man picked her up from the table in the Forge. Her physical senses were dulled in her mental prison, but not completely gone. She knew what had been happening, at least enough to make her choice. Just as she had been about to, however, it had stopped.
The wise, fatherly, comforting voice that spoken to her was gone, and she could feel that what the bright one (Taelyrn, the voice had called him) had been trying to do had been interrupted. Then, she'd been moved, taken through a portal and set down. She could feel that much at least. More than that, she'd felt some kind of connection, a thread of sorts connecting her back to those who had been helping her. It had held the strongest connection to Taelyrn, and she'd held on to it as long as she could.
Then, as Bruno turned on the destabilization field in her cell, the thread was cut. She'd felt something, some mind trying to find her. She was almost sure it had been Taelyrn. Then, to her shock and despair, it was gone. Her only remaining link to the outside world was gone. Part of her wanted to emerge, see what had happened, where she had been taken. However, the last thing the voice had said to her rang through her mind.
Be careful, Leyra. If you must emerge from the haven your mind has created for you, do so with the utmost caution. Your body has been through alot of stress in a short space of time, and you can't risk further injury. Not with the power you now hold.

"Jay perks up a bit a Bruno returns with the new inmate. Jay waited for Bruno to leave and then spoke to the woman.* "Yo, whats up? what do you use to dimension hop? did they take it away from you?
*Jay waited a few seconds for a response. His patience did not last long.*
"Hey! we need to do some communicating if we hope to get out of here. Even if you can only make rifts I might still be able to get us out of here . . . dammit!"

Leyra opened her eyes slowly as the man across the hall began to speak. She carefully brought herself back to full consciousness before sitting up, facing the man through the quietly humming force field. She cocked her head at the man as his impatience became clear.
He's right...as much as I don't want to...it's time to speak up. Leyra gulped audibly, visibly nervous. Finally, however, she stammered out, "I m-make them mys-self. T-they can't t-take it away."

*Jay grinned* "Perfect. Can you control where they open? if you can I need you to open a small portal in the hallway and one in my cell. Do NOT put it to close to me I don't feel like being ripped in half today. so i need you to chill and concentrate. Don't even try it if your not confident enough to do it right. no, fuck it, you have to do it if you can." *Jay stood up and moved as close to the back wall as he could. He was nervous and slightly angry. These were not common emotions for him. He hoped his uncharacteristic speech had not made things worse for the girl. It was most likely the fact that X-Peace knew he was here, and a cocky as he was while he was evading him for all this time, now that he was captured, he was frightened.*

Leyra nodded at the man's question, then panicked slighty as he suggested she use her abilities. However, he seemed to anticipate it, and his straightforwardness shocked her into a clearer frame of mind. He seemed just as nervous as she did, which, oddly enough, she found rather comforting.
Glancing first at the wall of his cell, then at the wall at the end of the hallway, Leyra opened her portals, just as she always had. However, as she concentrated on opening and maintaining them, she felt control over them being wrenched away from her.
As she watched, her normally stable portals rippled, becoming torn at the edges. The inside of the portals, which normally showed the view out the other, faded to black. She held on to enough control to know that there was still some link between them, but she was powerless to close them.
"Hurry! I can't tell how long they'll be open!"

*Jay took a breath and stepped through the rift. after about a half second he walked out of the other one, a few long scratches mark his arms and face. He immediately moves to the wall and starts hacking the controls. He has extensive knowledge of the system and this gives him an advantage.*
"Ok this is important, I need you to listen to me. they already know Whats happening in here. NOTHING happens on Haven with out the surveyor knowing about it. that said we need to be ready. Unfortunately we cant just portal back to Etrah, or any other world for that matter. The systems on Haven can hijack any interdimensional portal. You try and we could end up in deep shit. Not that we aren't already shin deep as it is."
*jay stops typing and the barriers of the cell turned off. The haze in the room slowly fades and the rifts close. Jay looks anxiously to the space where they were.*
"They don't do that on there own. We're going to have to make a distraction, and a big one, To get there eyes off us."
*Jay motioned for Leyra to follow him and moved toward the doors cautiously.*

Leyra nodded, walking slowly out of her cell, following Jay down the hall towards the doors. "Have a plan?"

*Jay looked back with a half grin on his face.*
"I never have a plan. I do have an idea though. Cant say it unfortunately."
jay walked up to the 2 large sliding doors and they opened automatically. He took a step out. looking left. then right to check for Guards. As he moved his head to the right his periferial vision caught sight of a rather large one, or rather his fist. Having little time to react he took the punch. spinning in the direction his head was moving in anyway he delivered a sidekick to the throat or the guard, who dropped quickly.*
"ok, come on. Its clear for now but keep your eyes open, there will be more."

Leyra watched as Jay took out the guard, taking a punch and turning it into an opening for an attack. She was impressed, especially when she took in the size of the guard as she followed him out the door. From what she'd seen before the brief scuffle, Jay was by no means a large man. However, the ease with which he'd taken down the guard suggested not only strength, but experience.
Adding that to the fact that he seemed to know his way around this place, and that he was just as eager to leave as she was, Leyra decided she would much rather have him as an ally than an enemy.
