[glow=white,1,500]A bright flash filled the small metal room, fading to reveal a cracked dome of light. The dome shattered, revealing Taelyrn on his knees, and Cryodivus laying upon the floor. Taelyrn braced himself with one arm, while one hand covered his mouth.
Almost immediately after they'd begun to teleport, he'd felt their path diverted, redirected to this room. The feeling of having that control wrenched from him left him nauseous, and with a splitting headache.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]"Unhh..."
Cryodivus finally awoke, his vision blurry. He felt his wings touching cool metal. He retracted them into his back once more, knowing that they had already been detected once. He would do everything he could to avoid a repeat of the incident.
"Taelyrn?" he asked, finally staggering to his feet. Blue blood still dripped from several wounds, frosting the metal it touched upon hitting the floor. "Where are we?" he asked, his voice still quiet and shaky.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn stood slowly, the nausea fading quickly, especially with the cool air coming off of Cryodivus. At least the demigod seemed to be recovering alright.
"Hell if I know...I was trying to get us out of that alleyway, and next thing I knew, I lost control of my teleport. Whoever took over, brought us here."
Looking around the small room, Taelyrn swore under his breath. They'd been on this world for only a few minutes, and already they were split up, two of them captured, and they had no clue where the girl might be. Somehow, though, Taelyrn didn't doubt things could still get alot worse.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus frowned. "Lost control of your teleport?" he said, genuine concern in his voice. "Clearly these people don't know what they're tampering with. If you had lost your hold on the portal and been unable to close it upon returning here, the Radiant Plane would have eventually consumed this place." He sneered. "Not that the idea doesn't hold a certain appeal," he added sardonically.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn smirked, giving a small laugh. "I get the feeling they either don't know, or don't care. They're too busy keeping us from the girl. I thought I'd felt her again a few minutes ago, but I lost it as soon as I realized it was there."
Glancing down at his feet, Taelyrn looked over his shoulder at the God of Ice, before turning to face him. "Look, Cryodivus..I'm sorry I brought this all down on us. If I'd known things would have turned out like this...well, I would have still brought her, but I would've tried to be more careful."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus looked at Taelyrn. "Then this situation was unavoidable," he said. "You would have brought the girl to us, and we would have come to your aid." He paused. "Of course, it might not have gone this poorly after that basic process, but it's not all bad news."
He looked at the cell around him. It was unassuming, but there was clearly something special about it. "If they can redirect teleportation, they can probably block it, as well," Cryodivus said, his fingers gliding against the metal wall. "That said, in order to redirect a Warrior Angel's teleportation, they have to take our layover in the Elemental Plane into account."
"Somehow they accessed the Radiant Plane," he said. "And in all likelihood, there was some backlash from tapping into that kind of power, especially if they didn't expect it. And, quite frankly, I don't think even these guys could have anticipated our method of interplanar travel."
He smiled at Taelyrn. "If they used a living being to do it, that being is probably feeling whatever effects the Radiant Plane inflicts upon the living, if probably on a smaller scale than actual intrusion," he said. "And if it's a machine, it was probably hit by an electromagnetic pulse. That means, if we can find a way out of this box before they can repair their machines, we can teleport unhindered, hopefully long enough to find the Angel of Darkness-to-be and finish what we started."[/glow]

*the servayor watched and payed particular attention to the two in the room. He loved to listen, and comment to himself, about their reactions to what happened. their theories are vary interesting to him but flawed in a few ways.
"they act as if the portals are doorways rather than hallways. I mean I guess the fact that you travel through the space instantaneously would throw you off, as well as the fact that eyes cannot process the space between because there is nothing to see. I didn't access either plane I put a detour in the middle of the hall."
*His statement was true but so was the fact that he couldn't do another hijacking for a bit. The technology for creating a portal from a great distance without hardware at the scene was new and difficult on its own. The computations involved in quantum physics are quite complex and as strange as it seems they actually take longer then the act of creating the portal."
"oh my... their going to try again. Usually the hijacking deters people from even trying again. Its a simple fix now that they are in a controlled environment."
*A static fills the air in the room, destabilizing any portals created in it into rifts.*

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus felt something in the air. He didn't know exactly what, but he did know it probably wasn't good.
"Okay, something's changed," he said. "We'd better get started. I don't know how long their hacking system will be down for."
He placed a hand on a wall of the cell, and frost began to spread outward from his hands. "Okay, Taelyrn, here's the plan," he said. "I'm gonna try and freeze this metal. That will make it brittle, and easier to break. Once I think it's frozen enough, I'll try and use a burst of magic to crack it. While I'm doing that, I need you to hit the frozen metal as hard as you can."[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn nodded, glad for the light in the small space. As long as there was light of any kind, he could draw power from it. Drawing his sword, Taelyrn took a few deep breaths, calming himself. Everything that had happened since they'd come to this world had been rather distressing; if they were going to get out of this, he'd need a clear head.
The act also allowed him to focus his energy. When Cryodivus gave the signal, he'd accelerate himself. He couldn't keep it up indefinitely, not in a place with such a minor light source, but if his punch to the man on Earth had been any indication, a little would go a long way. And, as he knew from the accident with Visignis' hand, he could hit hard when he needed to.
"Whenever you're ready."[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus continued to freeze the wall, his free hand surrounded by a ball of icy energy. He decided the wall was sufficiently frozen, and flattened his off hand, his eyes never leaving the wall. He removed the hand he had used to freeze his prison, and balled a fist.
"Now!" he proclaimed as he punched his hand, a burst of blue magic pulsating from the wall, accompanied by a multitude of tiny, nearly inaudible cracks.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]At Cryodivus' signal, Taelyrn used the energy he'd focused to accelerate himself, his form blurring to the naked eye. Pulling back, he swung at the cracked wall, striking it with the diamond embedded in the pommel. The cracks spread, and with his slowed perception, Taelyrn watched as the metal seemed to ripple before giving way entirely.[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus smiled. "Okay, that's a step in the right direction," he said, stepping outside the cell and into a hallway. "Come on out here," he said, turning and looking at Taelyrn. "See if you can find the girl and let's get out of this hellhole."[/glow]

*The cracked wall broke in a way that left the wall of the cell to the right of Cryo and Taelyrn's cell severely cracked and created a foot wide gap in the wall of the cell to the left.*
*Three large fingers that had the complection of faded bricks slid through the hole in the wall. the air around the fingers seemed to be moving and upon closer inspedtion the figers were actually covered in a clear fire. The wall began to melt and the fingers pulled it back untill the hole was the size of a large man. a figure that looked to be half human and half dragon squeezed through the hole and stood facing Cryo. its fase was hard to read because it did not have the softness of a humans and so exprestions could not be easily shown. He looked at cryo for a moment until his gaze moved to the wall on the other side of the hole.*
[glow=white,.5,400]*A silvery substance flowed from the cracks. It pooled on an eratic patern on the floor before pulling together and forming into a rough aproximation of a human upper body with a singular pillar as its lower body. It stood about 4' tall. Its speach was audible but slow and slightly gurgled.*
"SShrasan DE LEraSSS ESS"
*The form held out a 'arm', which gained fingers and a thumb as it did so, as if to shake hands.*[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,500]Cryodivus looked at the half-dragon, then the silvery humanoid. He had freed them from their cells, but that begged the question of how good of a thing that truly was. Clearly this group had their fair share of zealotry, but they weren't idiots. Were these two in a situation like Taelyrn and himself, or should they have remained in their respective cells?
The silver one then spoke, in a language Cryodivus was totally unfamiliar with. It seemed to be extending its hand, but Cryodivus was uneasy.
"Taelyrn, did you hear that?" he asked, glancing briefly into the cell but not letting his eyes leave the silver creature for long. "It's not a language I've ever heard. Is it Earthen in origin?"[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]Taelyrn watched as the draconic being and the metallic one emerged, immediately on his guard. They'd been imprisoned, much like himself and Cryodivus, but after the past few days, he wasn't taking any chances.
"It's nothing I can understand. If it's from Earth, I couldn't tell you where."[/glow]
