Darzul saw Thoncir General Hospital across the field he was driving though.
"Almost there, Meso," he shouted through the window leading to the back of the truck. The truck emerged on a nearby road, skipped over a small lawn, and Darzul slammed the brakes as he cranked on the steering wheel. The truck began to skid sideways, and came to a stop, the back of the truck pointing at the emergency room entrance.
Darzul jumped out of the cab, and opened the gates on the back of the truck. "How's he doing?" he asked, climbing into the truck to help get this guy inside.

[glow=red,2,500]In a large burst of flame, Pyrodeus and the group of wounded angels appeared in the Thoncir Genreal Hospital parking lot. It looked fairly quiet, the only other people entering the hospital were in a truck near the door labeled EMERGENCY.
Pyrodeus then realized that he was near the emergency room, and was thankful he didn't have to look far. "This way," he told the angels, walking toward the door.[/glow]

[glow=white,1,500]In a flash, a sphere of light appeared near where Pyrodeus and the injured angels had arrived. Inside, Taelyrn relaxed, dropping the shield and starting after the God of Fire.
He found an injured angel who was having trouble walking, and helped support her weight, walking her into the hospital with the others.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis blinked hard a few times to try and stifle the glowing behind his eyes.
"A little bright, Taelyrn," he said, "but thanks." Visignis then helped carry a larger angel, and extended his hand so a handful could lean on the bracer rings.[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana tightly hut her eyes. "Holy shit, that was bright," she said, having trouble seeing.
Once her vision had mostly returned, a feat that took much longer due to her intoxication, she saw Taelyrn and Visignis carrying angels. Luckily, it appeared the rest were moving okay on their own. Viviana knew she was too drunk to help much.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus retracted his wings, and walked to the front desk.
"Excuse me," he told the woman there. "There are over 40 injured angels on their way in. Mostly superficial; cuts, bruises, a few broken bones. Don't worry," he said as he saw her mouth open in concern, "Medically speaking, unless dealing with wings, angels are no different than humans."
He saw the woman's eyes bulge as the first of the angels - real, live angels - walked through the front door.
"And there's only about a half dozen broken wings," he added, "but we do need to deal with them. If you could call a veterinarian and explain the situation, I'd appreciate it."[/glow] "Uhh, okay," the woman said, still somewhat dumbstruck as she picked up the phone.
[glow=red,2,500]"Thanks," Pyrodeus said, walking toward the front door.
"Those of you with wing injuries, they're calling in a...specialist," Pyrodeus shouted to the group of angels, thinking some might be offended that their wings, often the source of much angelic vanity, were to be handled by an animal doctor.[/glow]

Darzul looked at the group of angels entering the hospital. He smiled, happy at his good fortune; he could get the angel-wings guy into the hospital, and give him anonymity on top of it, and he could still get his shipment.
He looked at the angel that he and Mesozoic were carrying. "We're at a hospital," he told the angel. "Do you think you can walk?"

[glow=white,5,600]Coryn slowly sat up. The sharp pains from the buymps in transit had woken him. The voice addressing him had a strong echo, but he was still able to make out a few words. '... hospital... walk...' he heard. Nodding slightly, he lowered his feet to the ground, slowly putting more wight on them. Within a few seconds, he was able to stand. He moved a foot, placing it in front of the other, then repeated the motion with the other. It hurt, but he could walk. Offering a glance to the human that had addressed him, his gave another slight nod.[/glow]

Darzul nodded, letting the guy go. "We'll be back in one hour," Darzul said.
He then looked at Mesozoic. "We got him to the hospital. He'll be fine here for the next hour. Now grab that carbine," Darzul added after a short pause, walking toward the cab of the truck. "We've still got a schedule to keep."

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis smiled at his father's declaration of a 'specialist' to deal with their wings, knowing full well the 'specialist' was a vet. He assumed Pyrodeus had his reasons, and said nothing, helping the angels who were leaning on him inside until nurses helped them further.
"Okay," Visignis said to Viviana. "The refugees are safe for now. We need to get ready for if those robots come back."[/glow]

[glow=white,5,600]Watching the people who helped him begin walking away, he was a little curious as to why they weren't sticking around. Though, his need for medical attention took precidence over that. Coryn walked through the hospital doors, instantly taking note of the collection of angels gathered there. He seemed to attract bad luck. With these numbers, he'd have to wait at least an hour before someone saw him. Then again, what was a few hours compared to the week he'd already endured.
This new body really was rather spectacular. And Ark had been keeping it to himself. He made a mental note, to take it for a test run if and when it was fully recovered.[/glow]

Darzul turned the key, and the truck rumbled to life. "The warehouse isn't too far from here," Darzul said to Mesozoic, drawing his gun and checking the clip. Seeming satisfied, he pulled back the slide on his pistol, simultaneously navigating a roundabout and stopping at an intersection.
He pushed the clip back into the handle of the gun before pushing a button, bringing the slide forward and chambering a round. He checked his pockets, starting up the truck once more and driving forward.
"There's more Carbine clips in the glove box," Darzul told Mesozoic as he holstered his handgun once more. "Unless things really turn to shit, you won't need 'em, but it's better if you know where they are."

Meso shook his head. he opened the glove box and took out one extra Carbine clip, slipping it into his inner pocket.
As he shut the glove box he uttered. "this should be fun."
