[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana draped the cloak over her shoulders, and pulled the hood over her head. "Seems to fit okay," she said, looking down at herself. "And all of my weapons are concealed by it."
She then grasped the cloak in her hand. "It feels a bit warm to the touch," she said, her fingers rubbing the mail. "It's incredibly smooth, it feels a lot like silk." She then leapt into the air, and executed a few simple martial arts moves upon landing.
"It's really light," she said. "It moves with me very well, and doesn't restrict my movement at all." She then pulled the hood off of her head. "And the hood barely hinders my vision. Does it cover my face alright?"[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus shook his head. "I modeled the style after Visignis' cloak, but adjusted to fit your body," he said. "I can tell it's you, because I know you. But your average Joe wouldn't be able to identify you later if he saw you wearing the hood."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]"Great," Viviana said, smiling. "Well, should we go find Cryodivus and Taelyrn?" she asked.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus nodded. "Okay, let's go," he said, surrounding the group in a dome of flame.
"Wait a second," he said as he paused, the flame dome dissipating. "Taelyrn teleported out of that alley. I saw him do it. Somehow, it got him in a place where I can't sense Cryodivus' presence well. Taelyrn had the same problem trying to find that girl right after those two intruders came into the Forge, and I'm fairly sure they threw her is some kind of cell."
Pyrodeus looked in the direction he knew Cryodivus was. "And, they can teleport. If they can get in the Forge they're very good at it. I know this sounds wierd, but I think Taelyrn might be in a cell not unlike hers. And I don't think he meant to go there."[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]"That's impossible," Visignis said. "Doesn't Taelyrn use an Elemental Plane, like you? Wouldn't tampering with that destroy whoever did it?"[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]"Depends on the plane," Pyrodeus said. "And regardless, teleportation is just shy of instantaneous. If my guess is right, they would have only tapped into the Radiant Plane for an extremely brief moment. Sure, it would have damaged the redirecting agent, but probably not outright destroyed it."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]"Maybe he meant to go to the city," Viviana offered. "After all, that's probably where they took the girl. If he thought that he could go get here with just himand Cryodivus, he probably would have."
"After all," she muttered, "his search for this girl has taken us to a strange and hostile dimension."[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]"I don't think so," Pyrodeus told her, either having not heard her second comment or choosing to ignore it. "He said he would meet with us. With all the time and energy I spent on that cloak, Cryodivus should be back on his feet. And he would have been able to find us by now, unless something was stopping him. At the very least, I should be able to get enough of a lock on him to teleport to his location."
"If they did go there to get the girl, I'm sure the first thing they would have done upon finding and rescuing her would be to leave this dimension, and take refuge in the Forge. Being able to sense Cryodivus only a bit is a worse sign than sensing him completely, or not at all, for that matter."
Pyrodeus shook his head. "No, something definitely did not go according to plan. But teleporting is out of the question, because whether it was a rerouting of teleportation or a botched rescue attempt, it didn't work for them. It probably won't work for us."[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]"I guess that all makes sense," Visignis said, "but it begs the question: How do you plan on getting all the way to Taelyrn and Cryodivus from here? I mean, we're all in pretty good shape, but I think walking would take a prohibitively long time."
He thought, then spoke up again. "I know it's kind of high-profile, but we could fly. This isn't that big of a planet, we could at least get near the city and worry about blending after that."[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus frowned. It was a risky plan, at least from a stealth standpoint - he needed his wings to be spread in order to fly. And Visignis generated thrusters from his boots. Not exactly subtle. But, quite frankly, it was the best plan with teleporting no longer an option.
He nodded. "Okay, listen to me," he said. "We fly very low and very fast. I'll take Viviana, I have more experience flying with passengers. I want you no more than fifteen feet behind me the whole time. Grab onto my ankle with that hand if you can't keep up, but we have to stay in a close formation."
"We'll be weaving between the larger heaps of junk, to avoid detection as much as we can while we're in the junkyard. Once we see the city limits, we stop a mile outside of them. You two make sure your cloaks are on, I'll retract my wings and get rid of my sword. And from there on, we don't fight unless provoked - and by 'provoked', I mean a legitimate threat. Some drunken hobo accosts you, you ignore him. Everyone clear on that?"[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]"Okay, so I cling to Pyrodeus for dear life until we get to the city, and once we're there I make like margarita mix and blend. Got it."[/glow]

*The ground shook subtly, almost like an earthquake coming and going in waves. If one looked to the south east they could see that the trash about 200 yards away, and closing, was heaving up and down as though something was moving just below the surface. In fact there was. Large wormlike creature swam through the garbage at about 40 yards per second. It surfaced what would be considered the head at a glance when it got to about 25 yards away. The visible portion of its body towered 30 yards into the air and it seemed to be covered in writhing garbage. in a few seconds with examination it could be seem that the garbage was either falling of going into the creature showing sharp toothed, articulated mouths covering the entirety of its body. it lurched and fell forward toward the group of tasty snacks.*

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus turned once he heard the breaking of ground, and saw an enormous wormlike creature rise up. He looked at it, and immediately turned and grabbed Viviana.
"Run!" he bellowed at Visignis, his own wings spreading and flapping, sending him airborne.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis turned to see a giant abomination, literally covered in mouths lined with sharp teeth bearing down on him.
He jumped backward just quickly enough to be grazed by a tooth on his right arm, sparks flying from the bracer. He fired his thrusters from his boots, and turned to follow Pyrodeus, throwing a glance behind him to see if the thing was maintaining pursuit.[/glow]
