[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana had turned to see what the noise was. She had barely gotten a glimpse of the creature before she felt a heavy impact. An "oof" escaped her lips as she felt herself leaving ground, and saw that Pyrodeus held her and was now fleeing the creature.
She squirmed and fought to get a good look around Pyrodeus, and see Visignis, but he held her fast. All she could see were the wings on either side of him.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis turned around just long enough to see the creature no longer pursuing them.
"Do we keep going!?" Visignis yelled to Pyrodeus.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus contemplated stopping again, but could see no good reason why. "Yeah, keep going!" he shouted back to Visignis.
He then looked down at Viviana, her silksteel cloak fluttering in the wind. "Hold on tight," he told her, slowly but steadily accelerating.[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]"You don't have to tell me twice," Viviana said, wrapping her arms around Pyrodeus' neck tightly enough to kill a normal person. He didn't even seem to notice.
Sometimes I forget my father-in-law is a demigod, Viviana thought to herself, watching the ground blur past beneath her at speeds that, with any other escorts, would have scared her.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus felt a presence in the distance that caused his head to snap up.
"I can feel Cryodivus!" he shouted. "Once we get to the city I should be able to lead us right to him!" He then began picking up speed, and started to swirve between mounds of garbage to avoid any pursuers the group might have picked up.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis smiled as he heard Pyrodeus' declaration, barely audible in the rushing wind. He then saw his father begin to pick up speed, and start dodging in and out of trash heaps.
"Holy hell, he can fly," Visignis muttered to himself, flame jets firing from his left hand and bracer in an attempt to keep up with Pyrodeus, and give him more control to help him maneuver as deftly as his father.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]After several minutes of flying, Pyrodeus began to slow. He saw some enormous scyscrapers on the horizon, and he knew if he could see the buildings, it wasn't inconceivable the people in the buildings could see them.
He immediately landed, his sword disappearing in wips of flame as his wings retracted into his back. "Okay, guys, from here on out we walk," he said, setting Viviana down. "Very low profile. I'll do the talking if we need to speak to anyone."[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana nodded, pulling her new cloak over her shoulders, and pulling the hood down to conceal her face. She looked down at herself, and with a quick adjustment of how her sword hung from her belt, it was impossible to tell she had any weapons at all.
"Okay, I'm ready," she said.[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis set down next to Viviana and Pyrodeus, his cloak settling over his shoulders. With a quick shrug he was fully concealed as well.
"Okay, on foot from here," he said.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,500]Pyrodeus nodded, looking relatively unassuming without his wings, sword, or hammer. He would have little trouble passing for human.
"It's still a couple miles to Cryodivus from here," Pyrodeus said, starting to walk toward the city. "Here's hoping he and Taelyrn are faring better than we are."[/glow]

[glow=orange,1,600]Visignis began to follow behind Pyrodeus, keeping his face turned down but his eyes up. He would move as inconspicuously as possible, but still be able to take in his surroundings quite well.[/glow]

[glow=purple,1,800]Viviana quickly got in line behind Pyrodeus and Visignis. To an outsider, she hoped it might appear like a guide walking with two missionaries, or something of that nature.
Granted, she didn't know anything about the customs of these people; she had found a village that very nearly attacked her because her tank top didn't cover her neck. But nondescript people in robes were usually fairly non-threatening, in her experience.[/glow]

The servayor watched intently, this was the most interesting thing that had happened in haven in a long while. he decided it best to hand this situation to someone who would be able to deal with it easily. there was enough trouble being caused in the prison section.*
[message to bruno and gyro] We have some uninvited guests that need to be delt with as quickly as possible in the outskirts of the city near the sea of excess. they have caused no real harm yet but they're friends have. please neutralize the situation as soon as you are able.[/message]

[glow=gray,50,300]A metal man suddenly stepped out of a ripple in the air, stepping over the heaps of junk. He shook his head in disappointment. "Just when I was finally starting to know my way around that place, they drag me back here, to this dump. But, an order from them, may as well be an order from X." Taking a moment to look around, he couldn't find the alleged culprits. "Now... Where could they be?" A maniacal, sharp grip parted his mechanical lips, bearing an array of wicked teeth. The left arm rose, aiming toward the sky. A metal plate along the top of the forearm popped up slightly, and slid back, allowing a single rocket to protrude, which, in turn, proceeded to fire. This was a missile, specifically made to operate under the guidance of the surveyor. A trail of flame followed the projectile, giving it the appearance of a signal flare. Suddenly, it arced to the north, racing toward one of the targets. If it struck, it wouldn't do too much damage, as it was meant more for tracking, than killing, but it would still carry the force of a concussion grenade.
"Well, then, George, I believe they went that-a-way!" he shouted before bounding after the missile.[/glow]
